This is my first alarm clock. She usually comes over and sits on my side of the bed between 4:30 and 5am. Once she’s in position she stares and me until I get up. She does not care how much fun I had with the captain just hours before. I took this pic with my iPhone and the sun is just barely coming up. She is on duty EVERY MORNING.
If I’m stubborn and won’t get up after 10 minutes of one dog staring at me, then alarm clock number two shows up and they both proceed to stare at me. Matt has three dogs now. I can’t imagine what feeding time is like at his place.
If alarm clock number 2 doesn’t get my ass up, then they bring in the ringer. This little bastard starts meowing relentlessly, until my feet finally hit the floor and I grab up bowls and get everyone fed.
It’s not pretty when the 4th alarm clock has to be called in. He kicks ass and takes names later.

Yeah I have 3 dogs now, but luckily they’ve learned the art of sleeping in. If one of my animals tried to wake me up at 4:30am to be fed they wouldn’t get anything more than a morning fart.
